Status of senior employees This thesis deals with a special category of employees who have the task of managing, organising and checking the work of subordinate employees. It is often crucial for the employer's operations to have these senior employees in the company, especially to better ensure the organisation of work, where the employer may not have sufficient overview of all their employees, especially if it employs a large number of people. Managers thus act as a necessary link between employers and rank-and-file employees, fulfilling the employer's will through their activities, thus facilitating the performance of the employer's activities, but also making it easier to manage a larger number of employees, which can also lead to greater success of the company. Since this is a significant part of (almost) every work group, it can be considered more than appropriate to define as much knowledge as possible regarding the position of senior employees within one specific job type, where for this purpose not only various professional articles in periodicals, the authors of which are used with senior employees have dealt with in the past, but above all in this work, court jurisprudence is processed, with regard to insight into employment relations in practice. Legal status of managers when terminating employment This thesis deals with the topic of the legal status of a manager when terminating employment. The first chapter outlines the gradual evolution of a job position of an employee- manager in between the years 1918 to 2006 and shows conditions under which it was possible to terminate employment with an employee in a managerial position. The next chapter introduces the individual participants to the employment relationships that is an employee, manager and employer. The third chapter describes the two possible ways how to commence employment in case of a manager which is the appointment or the employment contract and defines all the requirements necessary to comply with so the employment is valid. The following chapter concentrates on the rights and obligations of ordinary employees and managers and the obligations of employers. Managers have the same rights and obligations as ordinary employees, but as they also have to fulfil the role of an intermediator between employer and ordinary employees, they enjoy additional rights and obligations. Development of the teaching staff cooperation at a primary art school

The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of cooperation among pedagogical employees from the point of view of executives of an elementary art school. It is devided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part specifies the concept of cooperation, sets it in the conditions of the elementary art school and describes the possibilities of cooperation control as well as approaches of the executives. Further it deals with concepts which influence the cooperation process, competences of the executives, organization structure and gender of the school director. The empirical part refers to a quantitative research which principle is questionnaire investigation of an accidentally chosen sample of directors of elementary art schools. The results of this investigation are further confirmed by interviews with the school directors and consequently with teachers. The subject of research are two experiments verifying the application of cooperation forms on this type of schools and observation of the cooperation process at the school of researcher's operation. A part of the thesis is also the overview of the results of used research methods. These are further analysed based on given hypotheses.
